Hi, I'm Selene Suarez, the founder of The Best of U Events, based in the stunning Vail, Colorado. Event planning has always been a part of who I am. From the age of 12, I was already helping family members plan their special celebrations by designing centerpieces, finding the vendors, creating guest lists, and so much more. It was clear early on that I had a knack for bringing people’s ideas to life, and my family always knew I was the go-to person when it came to planning something special. Growing up immersed in the world of events, I quickly realized this wasn’t just a hobby—it was my true passion and calling.

With several years of experience in hospitality, I’ve developed a deep love for creating unforgettable events that truly reflect the vision of those I work with. After planning my own wedding and falling in love with the process, I decided to share my expertise and help others bring their dream events to life. Whether it’s an intimate celebration for two or an extravagant gathering of over 350 guests, I know exactly what it takes to elevate your special day from ordinary to extraordinary.

I’m lucky to live in the beautiful Vail Valley, where I enjoy hiking and camping in the summer, and snowboarding in the winter. When I’m not planning events, you’ll find me working out at the Westin and spending quality time with my husband and our dog, Lyla.
